I interest about watching a concert since I was at 2nd grade of
junior high school. In my small city, a concert helding so rare. And
of course, If the citizens whants to watching the live music, they got to go to
another bigger city. But, that chance finally comes.
At that time, the citizens really in the mood of
this musician. It’s a band. It called Flanella. Actually, it’s not a very
famous band in Indonesia. This band looks like a new band in this industry. But
well then, the concert was so crowded of onlookers. At that era, I was just a
little girl. So that, I came to that concert with my mom. Yeah, mom. She
worried me so much. But because of that, I just can enjoy their music for about
an hour, coz my mom didn’t endure the crowded so much. Hmmm
After that, so many bands held some concert at my
city, but I always have no permission to look at it. Damn it. I almost give up,
and with patient waiting for the time till I grow up and do not need their
permission anymore. Hehe
When I am a college student in another city, I
have so many chances to fulfill my dreams. I attend some concert. It doesn’t
matter, I went with whom I never care. I often go just with my friends. Two
girls who attend a concert, a very dangerous area. But, again. They’re awesome.
So, it doesn’t matter for me.
1.
Ten to five
When I was at 1st
semester in the university, I got to go in some party. I went to this mini
concert, which held in SMA Depo. Hmm, how we called it? in Indonesia, it famous
as ‘pentas seni’. I don’t know the term in english. But just forget it, coz we
have to focus about the band.
It’s a group band
who have a unique ability. They’re jazz and very soul full. I love them. Everyone,
just try to listen their songs. Like: I will fly, you, hanya untukmu. Hmm.
You’ll just love it. I promise.
At that time, I
really don’t think that their performances will as good as on tape. It’s
awesome, wonderful. Oh my God.
2.
D’masiv
Who doesn’t know
d’masiv??? Nobody, I guess. Just look at almost the whole songs, which one
doesn’t good?? Noone.
When I was at 2nd
semester, me and my housemates, went to this concert. It helds in Dome of UMM.
We agreed to wear some cosplay, white. Haha. But thats not the point. I went to this concert, shout all the time,
yelling, jump, hmmm I feel I am not me. Haha. After that, I couldn’t speak
fluently coz had some trouble at my throat. Haha (again).
3.
J-rocks
This was a crazy
experience. I attending this concerst at about twice. First time, it held in
POLITEKNIK Malang field. They’re the guest. So their performed in short time.
But, that was a good performances. I did like their appearances, especially
when they sang Berharap Kau Kembali. It was a very beautiful performances, and
also a bitter one. They’d succed made me speechless watching them.
The second chances
come to me and my roommate now, Inez. We both went to their free concert (who
has a bigger danger than a ‘not free’ ones). At that time, there’re any
incidents, but it still under controlled. But of course, it didn’t make us
satisfied at that time. So, we determined to go to their hotel. We went there
at 12 o’clock. Midnight. And, we just so late. Damn. But, after some lobbying
technic, we’ve got some information that the band will check out at 10 o’clock
in the next day. Oh my God. So?

XO-IX
Actually, I attend
their concert for coincident. At that time, we had a survey schedule in west
java and in the way home to Malang, me and friends went to Bandung, especially
CIWALK for some holiday. And here we go. The artist did some performance at the
stage. Lucky us. But poor us. Coz, we didn’t have any time to enjoy their
music. I still remember, at that time, Budi sang his song Doremi and I’m Yours
(Jason Mraz). And XO-IX, the boyband sang Baby (Justin Bieber). They’re good.
5.
D’bagindas
I actually didn’t
means to watch their performance. We just attend the concert that held in front
of the Balai Kota Malang to watch Sheila on 7 performances. But, it looked like
both of them were the guest. I didn’t know their songs actually, so me and
friends just wait patiently while the other spectator around us sang their
songs loudly. Poor us.
Oh ya, that concert
was very dangerous concert that I ever attend. The pickpocket hang around us
and stole handphone people around (at least, there were 3 people around us that
lost their phone). Besides, the spectator were not so cool. They fight and made
some restless time. That was bad. The peak hours was when the security came to
us with their stick in the hand. That was really really bad. Danger 4th
stadium.

Sheila on 7
I love them. Nomu
nomu saranghae. I love their music since 6th grade (at about 2001/ 2002) tilll
now. I always imagine to watch their performances personally in front of my
eyes. I was so curious, how good they are in live time??
And finally, I’ve
got the chances. Actually this is my 2nd chance, coz I miss the 1st one. Their
1st concert was held when I got to go to west java to do some survey for
college. Damn it. I heard that was really awsome concert.
But, of course, I would
not give up for the 2nd chance although it’s for free. Yeah, it held in front
of Balai Kota Malang. They’re the guest with D’Bagindas. Eventhough it’s free,
they looked so profesional. I enjoy their music. And I am so surprise, that I
still remember their old song, even I rare listening them now. Haha
The 3rd chance
almost past away coz a reason. But, finally I watch it although at that time I
have a big burden. It held in graha cakrawala UM. At that time, I really really
enjoy so much. They’re so all out, and the spectator so welcome. The spectator
sang almost a whole song. Awesome. Duta, the vocalist, say thanks for us so
many times. He even came and climb the gate to be closer with us. Till he fell
to us and security came to help. Haha. Miane. I’m sorry Mr Duta. But you’re so
Daebak!!!!
At that time, they
played bertahan di sana, betapa, bila kau tak disampingku, sahabat sejati,
briliat 3x, pejantan tangguh, bait pertama, hari bersamanya, kita, hujan turun,
melompat lebih tinggi, seberapa pantas, and terimakasih bijaksana. Hmm, you
guys corius why I can shout it out of mind? Cause I recorded their whole
performances on my camera digital!!! Haha
Indonesian,
what I am trying to say here is, when you have a favorite musician, the foreign
ones, Korean, West, or anykind of them, don’t ever forget the our musician.
They good. I know that the industry not just about the music, but I think
personally, they have a good music, and it just comes automatically when we
face them directly. You’ll love them. I promise. And it will grow them well.
Whoever will bucking them be sides us??
